Montenegro - "Life is wonderful"
It was back to winter for our climb over an 1800 m pass to country #5.
And then back down to spring and our first Montenegran town, Rozaje, which doesn't have a strong economy as the Yugoslavia-era industries have faded out.
After a camp we climbed (notice a theme?) to a tunnel and exited back to sunshine, a ski area and the descent to Berane.
Given the amount of unmelted snow, our planned route through Montenegro is being modified on the fly. We sat in a burek shop to reroute and took off for Kolasin where we planned to wait out a rainy day. Down the valley and up a climb through the beautiful countryside.
Bryan added a "super, super" dish to dinner.
They have a garden and trees for apples, cherries, pears, quince, hazelnuts and walnuts.

It started to sprinkle just as we passed some of the only flat spots we'd seen when Radovan encouraged us in English. We turned back to ask about camping and were invited to a drink before setting up. Radovan's family (wife Adina, son Vasily, and parents) had just arrived to spend the summer in his family's hillside village. Adina is from Siberia and Brussels and they speak English at home. When asked how they met, Adina said "life is wonderful" and so it is!

We camped in the basement, enjoyed an excellent meal and were sent off with coffee and brandy the next morning. Hvala pulo!
Hope your cold weather riding was tolerable
