Kotor!
After sending Bryan off to Zagreb and beyond I rode to the southernmost point in Croatia where I met Zoran, a spearfisherman, and camped at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. It was a hot day and bathing in the Adriatic was refreshing.
The ride around the bay to Kotor was scenic. The first part through Herceg Novi had a pleasant promenade for a long way and the scenery improved all day.
I was welcomed to Kotor by Montenegrans, including Captain Trouble and Quentin Tarantino, who invited me to a cold one, two and three. They figured I'd need it after riding in the heat...
Although heavily touristed, including a daily cruise ship (which leaves in the afternoon fortunately), it feels more relaxed than Dubrovnik.
